What can I gain?
- Finished vocational economic school and the title Economic technician - level of education 5;
- the certification about the final exam which is a publicly valid document;
- a possibility to get job as an administrator in bookkeeping, civil service, phone call centers and in the field of logistics;
- the possibility to continue the study on post-secondary school, the program economist and business secretary;
- the possibility to continue the study on other post-secondary or high professional programs.
How can I join the program?
- The program can join everybody who finished the secondary vocational school (4th level) can be registered into the program.
- The registration for the new school year is in the beginning of September but it is possible to join during the school year.
- You need the original certifications, personal document and photography; you can get the blank forms in the administration of the school.
The course and organization of the education
- the course of education has its syllabus according to the off the job training for adults,
- the lessons are three times a week in the afternoon, on Saturdays in the morning,
- you can finish the course with the self education, too,
- the educational program lasts four years and finishes with the professional final exam,
- the program is performed in two places:
- Kranj, Ljubljanska c. 30 (Labore)
- Ljubljana, Prometni center (Traffic center), Letališka 16 (BTC)
Completion of education
- When you passed all the duties according to the program you can start passing the professional final exam which contains the fields: first examinational unit - in writing and oral examination
- from Slovene language and literature;
- second examination unit: economy;
- third examinational unit: in writing and oral examination from mathematics or foreign language;
- fourth examinational unit: product or service with the intercession on its behalf;
- you get the title "economic technician" level 5 of education after you passed the professional final exam. The school imparts you the certification about professional final exam which is a publicly valid document.
The possibilities to pay
The price of education is 850 EUR per year. The board of directors of B&B, ltd., defines the school fee every year. The participants in education can pay the fee in some ways:
- in unique payment,
- in four sequential monthly installments,
- payment on the basis of the order form of the company or the entrepreneur,
- payment on the basis of the written order of the employment service (Zavod za zaposlovanje Slovenije) for the unemployed,
- the costs of passing the professional final exam are 40 EUR for one examination unit.
We managed to gain the subventions for the students in school years 2004/2005, 2005/2006 and 2006/2007 together with the Ministry of Education and Sport which European Social Fund earmarked for the education of adults. Slovene Human Resources Development and scholarship fund announced publicly invitation to application for co-financing of school fees to reduce the educational deficit in school years 2007/2008, 2008/2009 and 2009/2010.
