Escort for Oversized Transport
Initial Training
The training is carried out in one day, lasts 8 teaching hours, and is divided into theoretical training (6 hours) and practical training (2 hours).
The exam is conducted separately on another date.
You may attend the training if you meet the following requirements:
The competence assessment is carried out by a professional commission appointed by a decision of the Minister responsible for transport.
The initial certification exam consists of a practical part and a theoretical part. Candidates who successfully pass the practical part (oral presentation) may then take the theoretical exam.
The theoretical exam sheet consists of question sections with 2 to 10 sub-questions. Each sub-question is worth one point. The candidate answers with YES or NO. A candidate passes the theoretical exam if they achieve at least 70% of the total points. The theoretical exam lasts 60 minutes.
A candidate who does not pass the exam may take it again, but not earlier than after three weeks. The cost of the re-exam is paid by the candidate.
If a candidate passes the practical exam but does not pass the theoretical exam, the practical result is kept, so at the next exam attempt the candidate only repeats the theoretical part.
A candidate who successfully completes the competence assessment receives a competence certificate for Escort for Oversized Transport, issued in the form of a card.
The price of the training is set with the approval of the Ministry of Infrastructure.
