At the School of Sustainable Development, we recognise the importance of continuous improvement and interaction with business, the local environment, students and researchers.
At the 5th "Sustainable Development Challenges" conference, we will focus on the latest trends and current challenges in sustainable development, environmental protection and sustainability in supply chains.
Once again, we will have the opportunity to learn about a number of inspiring examples of good practices that Slovenian organisations are successfully implementing in their business processes. These stories will surely inspire you to contribute even more actively to sustainable development.

The conference will be a hybrid:

When?
The expert conference Sustainable Development Challenges will take place over 3 days. The scientific and professional contributions of the active participants (authors) will be divided into thematic sessions in three sections. At the end of each thematic session, a round table on a topical issue will be held.
- Tuesday 12/11/2024: FUTURE ENERGY: CONTEMPORARY APPROACHES
- Wednesday, 13/11/2024: SUSTAINABILITY INNOVATION IN THE SUPPLY CHAINS
- Thursday 14.11.2024: CROSS-CUTTING ECONOMY
Timeline of conference:

15 September 2024 - Deadline for authors to submit abstracts.
- 30 September 2024 - Notification to authors of acceptance of papers, invitation to register for the conference.
- 10 October 2024 - Deadline for submission of full (accepted) papers for peer review.
- 20 October 2024 - Notification to authors of review of papers.
- 30 October 2024 - Submission of the final version of the manuscript for the compendium.
- 15 December 2024 - Publication of the compendium.
