B&B College of Sustainable Development International Hybrid Conference

At B&B College of Sustainable Development, we recognise the importance of continuous improvement and interaction with business, the local environment, students and researchers. The Challenges of Sustainable Development Conference provides an opportunity for experts to exchange views on topical issues in the field of sustainable development and environmental protection, with a focus on the economy, logistics, energy, and education.
We are pleased that every year at the conference we have the opportunity to learn about many examples of good practices that Slovenian organisations are implementing in their operations.
Conference Themes
- The papers in the first part of the conference will be divided into the following thematic tracks:
- Circular Economy
- Sustainability of Supply Chains
- Green Energy
- Environmental Protection and Sustainability through the Eyes of Organisations
- Sustainability and Education
Round table
The second part of the conference will be dedicated to a round table discussion, with the main theme of this year's conference being the circular economy.
Instructions for Active Participation in the Expert Conference
The official languages of the conference are Slovenian and English.
You will receive a certificate with your paper and presentation at the conference. Papers will be published in the conference e-Proceedings. The number of participants is limited. Priority is given to first registrations. An author can present a maximum of two papers at the conference.
Submitting a Summary
Submission is conditional on an original paper (published for the first time), in accordance with the guidelines. To submit an abstract for a paper to be presented at the conference, please submit the attached form by email to konferenca@bb.si.
The deadline for submission is June 1, 2023. Submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the Programme Committee and a notification of acceptance will be sent to you by June 9, 2023. Once you have received notification of your accepted paper, you will then arrange your registration for the conference, with a deadline for authors of June 16, 2023.
Submitting a Contribution
The deadline for submission of papers is August 16, 2023. Papers submitted by this date and written in accordance with the template will be published in the conference e-Proceedings.
It is the responsibility of the authors to ensure the linguistic correctness of the papers, and you are also responsible for the professional and scientific correctness of the papers. The paper will be peer-reviewed by at least two referees of the Programme Committee. COBISS registration will be arranged by B&B College of Sustainable Development.
Time to present your contribution
There are 10 minutes for the presentation of the paper and an additional 5 minutes for discussion. There is no prescribed presentation format.

June 16, 2023 - Deadline for authors to submit papers
August 16, 2023 - Deadline for authors to submit full paper and payment of registration fee
September 8, 2023 - Notification to authors of review of manuscripts
September 14, 2023 - Deadline for applications - participation without contribution
